Short-form video for small business (no dancing required).

The businesses winning on video aren't performing — they're documenting. Your normal workday is the content.

Short-form video is the biggest organic reach opportunity since early Facebook — platforms are pushing it hard, which means free distribution for businesses willing to hit record. And no, you don't have to dance.

Document, don't perform

Film what already happens: the job, the prep, the transformation, the question a customer asked. "Watch us fix this" content works because it's real. So-called boring industries do disproportionately well — novelty is the hook.

Win the first two seconds

Start with the result, the problem, or the number: "This leak was quoted $4,000 — we fixed it for $300." Never start with your logo. Nobody has ever kept watching for a logo.

The formats that always work

Before/after. Day-in-the-life. "Three mistakes people make when…" Q&A of real customer questions. Price transparency ("what $X gets you"). Rotate these five and you'll never run out.

Keep it native and frequent

Vertical, captioned (most people watch muted), under 45 seconds, shot on a phone. One a week is a fine start; the tenth will be dramatically better than the first — post them anyway.

The bottom line

Real work, strong hook, weekly rhythm. Video content is part of what we produce in the Growth Plan.
